Effective July 2026. unecho ("we") is built so that we know as little about you as possible.
Your profile answers, decode history, portrait entries, and settings are stored only on your device. We run no accounts and hold no user database.
When you decode a conversation, the text (with emails and phone numbers stripped on-device) is sent to our processing service and forwarded to an AI provider to generate the analysis. It is processed to answer your request and is not used to train models. Anonymous community posts you choose to publish are stored with no identifying information.
Real names, contacts, precise location, advertising identifiers. No ads, no data sales, ever.
Delete everything in-app: Vault → Delete everything (or panic-wipe). Because data lives on your device, deleting the app deletes your data.
